Short bio

I am Associate Professor at the Centre for Processes, Renewable Energies and Energy Systems (PERSEE) of Mines ParisTech since 2019. I got my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) in 2014 and M.Eng. in computer engineering from the University of Genova in 2010.

Research: My research interests lie in the domain of integration of renewables in the grid and sustainable energy systems. My main areas of focus are grid-aware control of distributed energy resources (with a special focus on storage systems), planning of energy storage systems and network infrastructure in future sustainable power grids, and forecasting of renewables demand at a high level of disaggregation (e.g., PV generation by using all-sky images).

Teaching: renewable energy system. Deputy manager of post-master course ALEF in "International Energy Management".

Previous appointements: Post-doctoral fellow at EPFL (Switzerland, 2014-2017), Guest Scientist  at NREL (USA, 2018) and scientist at the supply of electricity program of ETHZ (Switzerland, 2018).
